Organizzazione Prodotto Allevatori Suini Società Cooperativa Agricola – O.P.A.S. is equipped with an Organization, Management, and Control Model to prevent and combat the commission of predicate offenses of administrative liability under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 and corrupt and mismanagement phenomena under Law No. 190/2012.

O.P.A.S. provides assistance to its members for the wholesale trade of the pigs they raise. In addition to complying with the laws and regulations in force in Italy in the course of its activities, it intends to adhere to high ethical standards in its daily work.

These standards, and their guiding principles, are collected in the code of ethics (hereinafter, the “Code”) and constitute an integration of the behavioral norms dictated by the legislator and company regulations.

Simple compliance with the law, while fundamental, is sometimes not sufficient for O.P.A.S., which requires that all business decisions and behaviors of its personnel be based on ethical rules, even in cases where they are not codified by law.
